Welcome to the SC08 Education Program
Wherever you're from, we're thrilled that you're here.
The SC08 Education Program represents a transitional year as the second year of a four-year endeavor spanning SC07 through SC10. It is also a transitional year for developing and sustaining curricular materials driven by high performance computing and communications technologies, and the important integration of these materials into curricula that prepares future scientists, technologists, engineers, mathematicians and teachers.
You have a challenge before you. Will you engage the instructors, interact with your contemporaries, and take part in all that the SC08 conference offers? Our goal is to is to change classrooms across the country. We will facilitate you in using the instruction and collaborations to impact the sustained use of computational science and the computing and communications technologies that are highlighted through the SC Conference.
We urge you to follow up with your experiences here in Austin and attend one of the regional, week-long workshops held throughout next summer.
